GigaNet is organizing the 2nd edition of the international academic workshop on "Global Internet Governance: An Interdisciplinary Research Field in Construction". The workshop will be held in Brussels, Belgium, on 11 May 2009. It is organized in cooperation with three thematic sections (IIC, CD and CLP) of the European Communication Research and Education Association. A new book titled "Governing Global Electronic Networks: International Perspectives on Policy and Power" has been published. Editor is GigaNet member William J. Drake, together with Ernest J.
